Marketing Help for Self-made Entrepreneurs
Do you need a little help with your marketing? Not enough of a budget to outsource your marketing completely, but you're looking to run your thoughts by someone and receive candid feedback and fresh ideas. I spend most of my time doing just this -- helping business owners plan their advertising and marketing; teaching you what to do and how to do it.

Many of my clients like to consult once a month. Some during start-up phase or new product launches consult once a week, sometimes more. Either way, I help keep independent entrepreneurs, or seasoned directors and C-level executives on track and provide the details and marketing know-how to help you grow your business and increase revenue. My insights and ideas are guaranteed to help you or your money back.

Benefits for Your Business
When you engage Sharron Senter's marketing consulting you receive 9 times more return on your investment as compared with other marketing professionals. Instead, with Sharron, you're engaging several sales and marketing professionals simultaneously, including a seasoned copywriter, marketing communications consultant, Internet publicist, ecommerce CEO, sales channel development manager, CRM manager, art director, sales expert and persuasive speaker. Sharron has been helping businesses grow online and offline for the past 16 years.

She's also the cofounder and executive vice president of marketing for www.VisitingGeeks.com. A successful on site computer repair, networking and security company serving homeowners and small businesses, north of Boston. The company is the largest of its kind north of Boston.

If you'd like to engage in a marketing consultation please call me, 978.255.2771, and let me know in detail what your goals/needs of our session to be. Please tell me about your business and what you hope to accomplish. Please, serious inquiries only.

For a one-hour marketing and sales consultation, my fee is $225. For business owners and executives residing near Boston, I'm happy to meet with you in-person.

Thanks for your interest. I look forward to helping you grow your business.

P.S...I encourage you to read the following article, written by myself, before you decide to hire a marketing consultant.

Buyer Beware!

Be Leery of Marketing Consultants - What you need to know before hiring one.

Seasoned C-level Executive Seeking a Fresh Set of Eyes and Candid Feedback
I empathize with your situation. Whether you're a senior executive in a public company with a Board of Directors breathing down your neck, or leading a private company struggling to increase your ROI by a measly two percent, it's difficult being a successful leader day after day while sustaining company growth.

What's Keeping You Up at Night?

  • Strategies you've put into place not working?
  • Competition eating away at your market share?
  • Hired a senior leader and he's sub par at best?
  • Recent product launch landed with a thud!?
  • Is the media laughing at you?
  • Senior staff not playing nicely?
  • Employees unsatisfied; turnover at an all-time high?

So Sharron How Can You Help Me?
I can help, but only if you'll listen. You don't have to do what I say, but you do need to ponder it. If you're not ready to listen, then you're not ready for help and you'll continue indefinitely within the cycle you're in, sadly.

It takes guts to listen, right? Seriously, look how successful you are. You may be thinking, "Who can possibly help me, especially if they've never been in my shoes?" This is where you're mistaken. For it's this attitude keeping you from seeing the bigger picture and putting the strategies in place to overcome your business challenges. No one consultant needs to have walked in your shoes or have worked in your industry, for that matter. Why? Because if you're seeking a fresh set of eyes, then the only way to find it is to look where you haven't looked before. Look outside your industry, look outside your job role. Think about it. You've surrounded yourself with a senior staff who has your industry experience, and still your business or department is not performing to the level it should.

Back to how I can help...

I help by first understanding what your goals are, both for yourself personally, as well as your business. Then I do my homework, i.e., I listen, do some research, listen some more, watch, and then I provide you an insider's, outside point-of-view. Depending on your challenges and the level of detail you're seeking, I can provide in depth strategic recommendations, or simplified and candid feedback about your current undertakings.

I provide objective feedback you won't receive from anyone within your organization, simply because they've fall in love with their own ideas. I know! You pay them well to remain objective. But let's be serious, how can anyone remain objective when they're so close to the decision-making process?

My consulting services are most helpful when you're contemplating any of the following time-consuming and expensive business or personal moves ...

  • launching a new product
  • expanding your distribution channels or demographic reach
  • redefining your customer
  • coordinating a pivotal rah-rah for your sales teams or channel partners
  • about to fire a key team member
  • just acquired a company and you're preparing the newly merged internal and external communications
  • you're contemplating pursing a new leadership role with another organization

Any of the above could have disastrous financial and human resource outcomes if not managed and thought out effectively.

You have absolutely nothing to lose by seeking a second point-of-view. When you decide to utilize my consulting services, it's founded on the following...

You're trying to effectively lead an organization or a department, you've put your team leaders in place, and now you have a nagging feeling they're not telling it to you straight. Or, for whatever reason, things are not as they should be. Or, you need an objective opinion, someone who isn't involved with your organization on a day-to-day basis - whereby they have nothing to lose by telling it to you straight.

Please understand it's not my goal to find you doing things wrong. It's quite the opposite actually. I try to help you see what you're doing right. When you discover this, the door usually opens for the missing pieces to fall into place.

My consulting assistance is very much slanted with sales and marketing strategies, since this is how I've spent most of my career. However, my business acumen spans more than 16 years, from its infancy as a corporate marketing director, followed by self-employed marketing and sales consultant, as well as the cofounder and executive vice president of marketing for the most prestigious on-site computer repair, networking, wireless and security company north of Boston, www.VisitingGeeks.com.

I'm no slouch.

We can consult on the phone or in-person. I prefer the latter. At your level of play, I think face-to-face is far more effective, but it's your decision. When two competitors are neck in neck, market share advantage is derived from the nuances of how an organization communicates solutions to its customers. I find the same is true for face-to-face consulting. Understanding the nuances of what you desire leads to far more effective decision-making and overall superior leadership.

Call me when you're ready for some fresh feedback, 978-255-2771. I'd suggest email, but delivery rates are at an all-time low. So please call and leave a detailed message.

Tell me about yourself, your business and your current personal and/or business challenges and what you wish to accomplish together. Please be as direct as possible. In return, I'll let you know if I can help you. I have no desire to waste your time. Also, I'm not a psychotherapist; however, I have superior verbal communication, team leadership and moderating skills.

Confidentiality
Due to the sensitive nature of such high-level consulting and the impact such inside information can have on a business if leaked, it's understood that I will not disclose who I work with. No exceptions. Every thought, concern, opinion, strategy and insight you share with me will be held in strictest confidence.

Fees
Although much can be accomplished in an hour, I strongly suggest a minimum of two hours, usually more. The larger the business, the more building blocks we need to evaluate.

I bill $225 per hour. You can save with a half-day/4-hour session at $810 or a full-day/8-hour session at $1530, + travel time/expenses. All in-person consults taking place outside of the greater Boston area are billed at full-day rates. If you need anything else, just ask.

Also, if personality profiling is important to you, I'm an ESTJ with Myers Briggs.

I look forward to helping you!

Sincerely,
Sharron Senter
